Microsoft have just announced that the power of their next-generation AI is coming to the apps you use as part of Microsoft 365 copilot. The valuable tool is designed to improve productivity and efficiency by providing personalized, intelligent assistance.
You may have seen a rise in news stories concerning "Artificial Intelligence" or "Machine Learning" lately. Many of these stories are a result of the recently announced new version of Microsoft Bing, powered by the AI engine ChatGPT. These tools have revolutionised what we can ask a computer to do, and dramatically enhanced the level of response we can expect. While many of the news stories cover the comical applications, the advancements in AI are very real, and Microsoft 365 is poised to be an industry leader.
Microsoft 365 Copilot will integrate into existing apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams etc), and will provide you with powerful new options and commands. A new tool, Business Chat, will allow you to ask natural language questions, eg "tell me how we updated our product strategy this year".
Further examples of how these tools will work for you include creating a proposal based on meeting notes or a transcript, building a project plan and assigning tasks, or even writing a first draft of a report for you.
